KIU Law Students Give Back Through Blood Donation

Having commenced the Law Week well , the Law Society on 11th February, 2020, conducted a blood donation by members of the KIU Community as a way of giving back to the community.

According to Nabakooza Zainabu, Secretary Law Society, donating blood was a privilege and blessing to the Law Society and the University because it created awareness about health through the counselling session, and that the blood is meant to help the community and students when in need.

Furthermore, she explained that through blood donation, students are epitomizing a sign of community awareness since it helps in building the corporate identity of the institution.

Fahad Kyaze, a Law Student, says that he was honoured to be part of the people who donated blood and happy he contributed something to the society that money could not easily provide through using the Red Cross card that is provided after donating to save a life.
